Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) Calculator

Use this CAC calculator to see what you really spend to win each new customer so you can argue for smarter post-sales investment and better quality growth.

Calculate your CAC

Add your total acquisition spend for a given period and the number of new customers you won in that same period. The result shows your average Customer Acquisition Cost per new customer.

Tip: Use one full quarter of data so the number is stable enough for planning.
Paid ads, content, events, agencies and other marketing costs for the period.
Salaries, commissions and sales tools allocated to new logo acquisition.
Any other spend tied directly to landing new customers.
New paying customers in the same period as the spend above.
After you get your CAC, compare it with your LTV and payback period. If CAC is high relative to lifetime value, your growth may look good on paper but crush margin and CS investments.
